My personal recipe for body scrub
HELLO HELLO
Today I want to talk to you about body exfoliation, and what is the most effective way to do it, according to my personal experience.
What is a body exfoliation?
Body exfoliation helps us eliminate dead cells and leave our skin looking healthier and more hydrated.
It is excellent to do it beforehand, if we are going to tan in the sun (which I am not a big fan of). It's okay to get a little sun because of the vitamin E, but it's important not to overdo it, and always use sunscreen. It is also good to exfoliate when we are going to paint ourselves with self-tanners, because the skin is much smoother and makes the TAN last longer.
How often should I exfoliate?
Generally we should exfoliate once a week, the truth is I almost never do it but the day I do it I feel the difference, because my skin is very dry and when I exfoliate with oil, as in this case, the skin is moisturized.
If you have a sauna or Turkish bath within reach, it would be fantastic if you used it at the time of exfoliation, because the products penetrate a lot due to the heat generated by these two systems. The Turkish bath is my favorite because it opens our pores, which allows the product to penetrate to a greater extent, and does a kind of detox for our skin.
The way I do it, when I have time is the following:
We will begin by entering with a moistened body and as soon as we enter we begin to exfoliate with the following mixture:
- Two tablespoons of olive oil or coconut oil.
- Two full pumps of NICOLE RAVACHI BEAUTY blanc 2 moisturizing oil
- https://www.nicoleravachi.com/collections/skincare/products/aceite-humectante-facial-blanc-2 (optional) this contains jojoba oil, macadamia oil among others. It is supremely nutritious and will also leave a delicious smell on our skin.
- A tablespoon of brown sugar or coffee. Both are excellent exfoliants, the difference is that coffee helps us reduce cellulite because it increases circulation due to caffeine. The not so good part is that the area where we are applying the mixture gets very dirty. Personally, when I exfoliate with I make coffee in my shower where I have control of what I'm doing and I can clean it with the water.
Mix all the ingredients in a container and apply it instantly, let the mixture sit for 5 to 10 minutes so that the oils penetrate the skin and rinse. You will notice the difference in your skin.
