COLLAGEN SUGAR FREE DALGONA COFFE
HELLO HELLO!!
I tell you that I love cappuccinos in all their presentations, I like them both hot and cold.
I love anything with vegetable milk, like matcha tea in almond milk or cappuccino in oat milk, which is wow. Anyway, here I could spend hours talking to you about cappuccinos in all their forms.
But definitely my latest obsession is the Dalgona cappuccino, which these days I have seen a lot on the internet, it appears on almost all social networks. This cappuccino is perfect for when we have company at home, and we don't have a machine to make super foamy cappuccino. I'm having it in the afternoons and it makes me feel like I'm having it at Starbucks hahaha, the creaminess it has is from another world.
The original recipe for this cappuccino is with sugar, and what I have seen is that it cannot be made without this ingredient, that when mixed with coffee and water, this is what makes the foam come out. But obviously I didn't want it with sugar so I started trying in the kitchen, and it came out. And guess what? with hydrolyzed collagen vanilla flavor. On several occasions I have told you on my social networks @nicoleravachi, that whenever you want to add creaminess to a dessert or cappuccino, you use collagen, this makes everything thicker and we are also providing the benefit of collagen to our drink.
Ingredients you will need:
- 1 and a half tablespoons instant coffee
- 2 tablespoons hydrolyzed collagen
- 1 and a half tablespoons of liquid stevia
- 1 and a half tablespoons of hot water
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
If you want the dalgona coffee hot , you should heat the almond milk while we make the foam on the other hand.
If you prefer it cold , serve the vegetable milk in a cup and add a few ice cubes.
In a deep container, add all the ingredients except the almond milk, and beat with a mixer until the mixture becomes much lighter in color than coffee, it should be a beige-like tone. When you get this shade it is because the mixture already has the right consistency. This process takes several minutes, between 5 to 7 minutes.
The best way to serve this coffee is in a transparent glass or cup so you can see the beauty of the separation between the coffee foam and the milk.
