SUPER HEALTHY HOME MADE GRANOLA

SUPER HEALTHY HOME MADE GRANOLA

HELLO, HELLO

I uploaded this recipe to my Instagram stories, but at the request of many I leave them on the blog as well.

The truth is that it is a super easy recipe and we can use it for many things, for example for toppings, as cereal, to decorate cakes, for smoothies, in an acai bowl, the list goes on.

And here we go with the recipe for my super healthy HOME MADE GRANOLA.

Before telling you what the ingredients are, preheat the oven to 250 degrees.

You will need:

1 cup of rolled oats, which will be our base for this recipe, the rest is optional and you can change it with ingredients you have at home.

In my case I used:

  • A portion of pistachios, usually as much as fits in one hand.
  • A portion of sunflower seeds
  • A portion of almonds
  • Pinch of salt
  • Honey to taste
  • Stevia (optional)
  • Cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons coconut oil
  • 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter (this step is also optional)

All the ingredients are mixed in a bowl, you can stir them with a spoon or with your hand, the truth is that with clean hands it is much tastier.

Once everything is mixed, we transfer it to a small tray that can be put in the oven and add the crushed mixture as seen in the photo.

I don't have exact time for this recipe, because I check every 10 to 12 minutes and turn the mixture so that the oats and nuts are toasted on all sides.

Something that I want to emphasize, and it happened to me several times before uploading the recipe, is that the granola is not crunchy right away when we take it out of the oven, and many times we think that it needs more time because we don't see it toasted, that comes after it is cool granola. I say this so that they don't spend too much time and don't get burned like it happened to me several times hahaha.

Raise the oven temperature to 300 or 350 degrees, depending on the capacity of your oven.

Once ready, you take it out of the oven, let it rest and you can package it in a jar where you could use it for many recipes, even alone as a snack.
